Full engine audit record

October 9, 2026 update: all engines were stopped. CORE is parked, SURGE-R and RANGE are retired, and SURGE Simple v1 is the only engine in development. The record below is unchanged. Version and commissioning snapshot recorded October 6, 2026 for the October 7 paper lineup. These facts document preparation, not a successful future trading session. Historical build names and numbers are unchanged.

Historical engine performance

CORE, RANGE, original SURGE and SURGE-R are no longer active development engines. The new SURGE Simple 1, 2 and 3 cohorts have separate paper accounts and will be shown on the homepage after their first individually verified sessions.

October 9 original SURGE: one runner-recorded VEEA loss of −$23.07 gross. A separate user-confirmed manual VEEA win is excluded. Full-account EOD reconciliation remains blocked; the original SURGE entry is labeled accordingly in the underlying evidence.

Historical planning snapshot retained for traceability. The planned October 7 lineup described below is no longer the active strategy lineup.

CURRENT DEVELOPMENT

Three engines.
Built to be tested.

The planned October 7 paper lineup pairs CORE, the reversal control, with SURGE v2 and SURGE-R v1, two separate $2K small-cap momentum experiments.

October 7 · Planned paper lineup. CORE continues as the control. SURGE v2 is scheduled to begin its technical-risk cohort. SURGE-R v1 is commissioned for its first paper session on October 7, 2026. Neither new cohort has published results yet.

TREVORTRADER™ ENGINE LAB

One control. Two momentum experiments.

CORE remains the reversal control. SURGE v2 and SURGE-R v1 are intended for a head-to-head paper comparison, with separate accounts, versions and evidence.

PAPER ENGINE 03 · COMMISSIONED

SURGE-R

Small-Cap Momentum Engine

Instrument: US small-cap stocks

A separate momentum hypothesis. A separate evidence record.

PAPER · COMMISSIONED
NEW EXPERIMENT · PAPER ONLYSURGE-R v1 · $2K ChallengeDedicated $2,000 paper account · Planned October 7, 2026

The idea

Compare a separate small-cap momentum strategy head-to-head with SURGE v2 while CORE remains the control.

Commissioning

SURGE-R v1 Candidate 5 is built, independently audited and commissioned. All 31/31 tests passed with no commissioning blockers. Code hash: 180865af106fc3c2.

Account isolation passed. No orders were sent during commissioning. The first paper session is scheduled for October 7, 2026; this is not confirmation that trading has started.

SURGE-R and SURGE v2 each start with $2,000 paper capital and retain separate accounts and records. This compares two complete systems, not a single rule.

Paper evidence

No SURGE-R results are shown yet. Results appear only after EOD reconciliation. Performance metrics remain unavailable, not zero.

Evidence verdict: Commissioned · First session scheduled · Edge unvalidated.

Experiment history: CORE Experiment 02 · 30/20 is retired from the active account lineup. CORE 17/20 continues with Entry repair v1 as the paper control. SURGE v2 is scheduled for a new October 7 cohort; SURGE-R v1 is commissioned for October 7. Numeric labels identify internal strategy configurations; their underlying thresholds remain proprietary.

Our research standard: Paper performance is simulation evidence, not a proven live trading result. Wins and losses belong in the same record. Published metrics must identify the experiment, dates, completed-trade sample size, and costs. Missing metrics remain unpublished rather than appearing as zero. Detailed signal thresholds remain proprietary.

Full performance evidence

The archive below includes historical trades and clearly labels records whose full-account reconciliation remains unresolved. The October 9 original SURGE loss is included; the manual trade is excluded.

RANGE (Breakout Engine) retired Oct 6, 2026 after a paper account decline of −$8.69 ($300 → $291.31; recorded trade P&L −$8.00 gross, fees/adjustments unresolved). Replaced by SURGE-R.
